House destroyed in Gibson Co. fire
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Firefighters responded Wednesday evening to a blaze at a home outside of Dyer.
Multiple units responded to the fire on Highway 77, also known as Yorkville Highway, according to the Gibson County Fire Department.
It took crews from three departments — Yorkville, Dyer and Gibson County — 40 minutes to put out the fire. They say the house is a total loss.
Fire officials say no one was home when the blaze began.
The fire is under investigation.
