JACKSON, Tenn.- It was a big celebration on the campus of Jackson Christian School, Thursday. Students, staff and supporters gathered at JCS for their final Power of One celebration. The school’s family joined together for the event to celebrate all the non-profit organizations that have been recipients of fundraising during the year. There was also a presentation of a check to Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. “It seemed that every time one introduced the next non-profit, the next goal to meet, it re-energized everyone all over again, so we saw every time a complete rebirth almost of the student body getting excited because it wasn’t the same challenge it was a new challenge,”said Chris Ramsey, Director of Advancement for Jackson Christian School. Leaders said they are excited that the effort exceeded their $10,000 goal.
