JMCSS Approves Budget for 2013-14

JACKSON, Tenn.-Next year’s mutli-million dollar budget for the Jackson-Madison County School System was given a vote of approval at Thursday night’s board meeting. The panel approved the the 2013-2014 budget with only one no vote by board member, Jim Campbell. Superintendent Buddy White specifically mentioned in the meeting money will be set aside next year to buy a large amount of computers for schools. Although the board approved the budget, board member Truman Murray said he wants the following year’s budget to be more clear about where money is going.
