Lane College unveils new business lab
JACKSON, Tenn. — Lane College got a big boost Monday for business education.
College officials took time to cut the ribbon on the David and Melissa Hunt Business Engagement Lab.
It was made possible by a gift from the Hunts. School officials and those who gave say the 1,700-square-foot lab is second to none across the state.
“This is about preparation and making them believe they can be anything they want to be,” said David Hunt, president of Hunt Services. “That’s why it’s important to my wife and I to build this in such a way that it will be equal to any lab they could be going to in any school in West Tennessee, and or Tennessee.”
The Hunt’s help makes the lab possible through a $150,000 gift.
