Jackson police release list of streets closed due to flooding

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department has released a list of street closures due to flooding in the city.

The department asks drivers to be cautious when encountering any flooded roadways.

The current street closures are:

1. Allen and Edgewood
2. 1st street in East Jackson
3. Pipkin Road
4. Ashport Road near JEA’s pump station to Windy City Road
5. Airways Blvd from the 45 Bypass to Lucky Street
6. C street at Kentucky Street
7. N. Kentucky Street, A Street, and D Street
8. N. 2nd Street at Butler Street

These streets will remain closed until the water recedes and the streets are safe to travel.
