2 firefighters reportedly taken to hospital after Humboldt house fire

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Crews responded to a Friday afternoon house fire and injuries have been reported, according to Humboldt Fire Chief Chester Owens.

Humboldt fire McKnight StreetTwo firefighters have been taken to Humboldt General Hospital after fighting the blaze at a home on McKnight Street, according to police on scene. There is not yet word on whether they were taken for injuries or smoke inhalation.

One man has been recovered from the house and is being taken by ambulance, but there is not yet word on his condition.

Crews have put out the fire.
