Humboldt teen prepares for dream trip
Humboldt community celebrates before Garret Pruett leaves for Seattle
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Sunday afternoon the Humboldt community gathered for a special sendoff.
Garret Pruett, a 15-year old, received a proclamation from Mayor Sikes as he prepared for his trip to Seattle.
The Make a Wish Foundation surprised the teen last month at a Union University game.
Sunday afternoon friends and family released balloons to celebrate with garret and prayed for his safe travels.
“They give me hope, and its speechless my feelings about all of this,” said Pruett. “They pulled off that stunt at Union and now this I’m very thankful.”
