1 dead, 2 injured in Knoxville apartment fire
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A man has been killed in a Knoxville apartment fire that also injured two others.
Knoxville Fire Department Capt. D.J. Corcoran tells the Knoxville News Sentinel that firefighters on Sunday night were able to rescue two female victims, but found an unidentified man dead inside the apartment.
The two women were taken to a hospital to be treated for severe smoke inhalation. Their conditions were not immediately available early Monday.
Authorities say they believe the fire was accidental.
