JACKSON, Tenn.–A Jackson rapper created an app aimed at keeping young people pure. Carita Cole is celibate and encourages others to hold off on sex until marriage. “I’m 27 years old,” said Cole. “I’ve been living celibate for 27 years, all my life.” Cole is proud to be pure. “I wanted to wait until I was ready, until God sent me somebody, to get married and share that special moment with them,” she said. Cole practices abstinence. She created an app to help others do the same. The app includes verses from the Bible, a daily challenge, and video tutorials. Cole says scripture helps her avoid temptation. “It’s very challenging, but it’s something you can achieve and something that you can do,” she said. Cole is a Christian rapper. Her song “I Ain‘t Wit It” plays in the video on the app. “I wanted to express about premarital sex that hey that you know I‘m not ‘wit it’,” she said. Users can download the “I Ain‘t Wit It” app on their smartphone for free. Cole created the app about two months. You can also purchase her music through iTunes.
