“I Choose Jesus” program shares Easter story

PINSON, Tenn.—With Easter just around the corner some local churches are celebrating a little early on this Palm Sunday.

Pinson Baptist Church held their second ever Easter drama Sunday night told from the perspective of Joseph of Arimithea.

Around 20 church members made up the cast and crew, spending much of the last week building their own set.

“We’re not professionals but we just like to do it it’s fun hopefully it’s moving and worshipful we just like to present the gospel in a way that people can see it and visualize it,” Pastor John Gaters said.

Pastor Gaters said they had around 150 people attend the program and plan on hosting a Christmas program later this year.
