Camden man faces drug, gun charges in marijuana grow operation
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — An undercover investigation has landed a Camden man in jail on gun and drug charges.
Charles Wesley Hilliard is facing drug charges as well as felony gun charges after officers found an active marijuana grow operation at an East Lake Street home in Camden, according to the Camden Police Department.
Officers say they found 70 small marijuana plants along with three pounds of marijuana packaged for resale. They also reportedly found three guns during the search.
The bust was part of an ongoing undercover operation.
