Bradford and Milan Students Explore College Options

JACKSON Tenn.- The Milan and Bradford College Summit was held Wednesday, at the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus for high school students to explore college options. Thousands of juniors across West Tennessee were given information on colleges and other options after graduation. It was all a part of the Regional Economic Development Initiative to encourage students to pursue a higher education. “Juniors have a great opportunity as a rising senior this summer, those who would be diligent about it, to do a lot of research and now have a kind of a basis for where some of that research can take them because they’ve heard some information,” said Beverly Vos, REDI’s program director. Around 197 seniors from Bradford and Milan participated in the event. Other regional summits have also been scheduled.
