National Weather Service confirms tornado in Benton County
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A storm survey team with the National Weather Service in Memphis has confirmed that a tornado is to blame for Sunday storm damage south of Camden.
The surveyors found evidence suggesting a “weak tornado” occurred in the area.
A WBBJ viewer submitted the accompanying photo of property damaged by the Easter Sunday storms. The property damaged in the photo is five or six miles south of Camden.
