Local radio station makes life-saving donation to city, county emergency personnel

JACKSON, Tenn.-Emergency personnel in Madison County are now better equipped to save lives on the scene of a medical emergency
thanks to a donation from local radio station NewsTalk 101.5.

The station’s parent company, the Wireless Corporation donated 16 AED’s, which will be split between Jackson and Madison County.
The devices are used to restart a person’s heart in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

The eight units for the county will be placed in deputy patrol cars, while the city’s will go to engines with the fire department.
