Gulfport woman arrested for exploiting elderly man

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – A 46-year-old Gulfport woman has been arrested for allegedly exploiting an 87-year-old man on multiple occasions for his money.

Attorney General Jim Hood says Stephanie Craig faces three counts of felony exploitation of a vulnerable person. She was released from the Harrison County Jail after posting $15,000 bond. If convicted on all three counts, Craig faces up to 30 years in prison and $15,000 in fines.

It was unknown if Craig has an attorney who could comment on her case.
