THP identifies man killed in Huntingdon crash with train
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — THP officials on the scene of a crash involving a train in Huntingdon have identified the man who was killed.
Richard Gipson, 30, of Bruceton was killed in the crash, which occurred around 8:40 a.m. at the crossing at Highway 70 and Northwood Drive, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Gipson was driving a 1990 GMC pickup truck westbound on Northwood Drive and was struck by a train at the railroad crossing.
There is not yet word on what may have caused the crash.
