JACKSON, Tenn. – Cameron Pevahouse was born a normal child. He enjoyed playing baseball and riding his pony but all that changed when doctors told him he would not walk much longer. “He has fought so hard, and it’s really nice to be able to see him get something so magnificent,” his mother said. The magnificent thing Cameron received is an all expenses paid trip to Walt Disney World courtesy of the Make a Wish Foundation. Cameron said he was not prepared for the news. “I thought I was gonna have a heart attack,” he said. Pizza Hut where the celebration was held also gave Cameron $400 dollars to spend at Disney World, a Toys R Us gift certificate and free pizza for a year. “It’s Christmas all over again. Tonight it’s Christmas in May,” said Niki Berry of Make a Wish. Surrounded by his family and friends Cameron created his own pizza with help from the Pizza Hut staff. Cameron said he can not decide what was the best part of the night. “I’m excited about everything!” he said. Cameron said it has always been his dream to go to Walt Disney World and now thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation he no longer has to just dream. “It is very heart touching it’s more than I can ever imagine for him,” his mother said. Cameron and the rest of his family will take off for Florida on May 26.
