Man Sentenced for Child Sex Trafficking

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-A Somerville man has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to planning to trafficking a young girl for sex. Arieke Lester, 31, pleaded guilty in March to one count of conspiracy. Prosecutor said he participated in a scheme to advertise a 15-year-old girl for prostitution on a website, then deliver to people who responded to the ad. His two co-defendants, Chauntta Lewis and Maurice Mabon have also been sentenced to federal prison.
