Memorial service to take place for Sheriff’s Deputy
JACKSON, Tenn. — A memorial service will take place for Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Doty on Thursday, April 7, 2016, according to a press release.
The release states that a visitation will be held at Englewood Baptist Church at 5:00 p.m. and the memorial service will begin at 6:30 p.m. inside “The Warehouse” located behind the church.
Deputy Doty died in a motorcycle accident on March 13, 2016, while off-duty.
Family, friends, and co-workers will come together to celebrate his life and share favorite memories.
A fund has been established at the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation for his daughter, Taylor, for her higher educational needs. Anyone wishing make donations can do so by designating their contributions to “The Taylor Doty Fund.”
