Affidavit: Woman Hit in Head with Baseball Bat after Taking Beer

JACKSON, Tenn.-Walking in uninvited and drinking his beer. Those are the reasons a Jackson man gave police for allegedly hitting a female friend in the head with a wooden baseball bat. Officers arrested Michael Baughman, 52, around 12:30 p.m. Sunday on Webber Street. He faces a charge of aggravated assault. Baughman was actually the one who called police, reporting that his friend had broken in. She has not been charged and is recovering.
