Driver airlifted after morning wreck in Bolivar
BOLIVAR, Tenn. — A woman has been airlifted to Memphis and two others taken to a local hospital after a Wednesday morning crash.
The wreck occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Highway 64 near Walton Road in Bolivar, according to Sgt. Chris Richardson with the THP Memphis district.
An eastbound 1994 Toyota pickup lost control, crossed the median and spun around before hitting a 2011 Ford Fusion in the westbound lane, according to Richardson.
The woman driving to Toyota as been airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, according to Sgt. Richardson. The two women in the Fusion were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
