Update: East Tenn. teen found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

UPDATE — Brooklyn Morrison has been safely recovered and her non-custodial father, Mark, is in custody, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.The AMBER Alert is canceled.

NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an AMBER Alert on Wednesday for an East Tennessee teenager.

According to the TBI, 13-year-old Brooklyn Morrison was taken by her non-custodial father, Mark Morrison, Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:35 EST.

They were last seen in a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck with Tennessee license plate Y9360N. Investigators say Mark Morrison has a violent criminal history.

Brooklyn is 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds. She has short bleached blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pierced nose and tongue.
