U of M Lambuth hosts ‘What’s Next, Jackson?’ concert

JACKSON, Tenn. — Concert organizers on the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus are hosting what they hope to be Jackson’s next big musical hit.

Several up-and-coming bands will perform at Thursday night’s first-ever What’s Next, Jackson? Concert, a chance for new artists to show audiences what they’ve been working on.

“It’s invaluable to them to have opportunities to get on stage, to get the experience of performing a professional concert, make a CD, record it, have video done,” Dr. Jeremy Tubbs, director of music, said.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5.
