Madison Co. Jail administrator wins state award
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The administrator of the Madison County Jail has been honored with the Jail Administrator of the Year Award.
Capt. Tom Rudder received the prestigious award Tuesday, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The Tennessee Corrections Institute presented Rudder with the award for counties with a population of over 75,000 during a ceremony in Franklin.
Rudder’s wife, Vickie, along with Sheriff John Mehr, Chief John Lewoczko and several other co-workers from the CJC, Annex and Penal Farm were in attendance.
Capt. Rudder became the local jail administrator on July 21, 2005.
