Olive Garden celebrates spirit of North Side H.S.
JACKSON, Tenn.-Salad, breadsticks… and a high school band? All of it was on the menu for the 2nd annual Olive Garden ‘School Spirit’ fundraiser, Tuesday night.
Diners celebrated North Side High School as a portion of sales up to $1,000 will benefit the school and its programs.
This was the second of two National Spirit Nights this school year, which encourages the community to get involved in celebrating its local high schools.
“High schools are kind of the cornerstone for the community. It brings together family and friends and that’s just kind of what we are about. And we would just like to be able to give back to the community that helps support us,” said Peter Thomas, general; manager of the Jackson Olive Garden restaurant.
Since the beginning of the partnership, Olive Garden restaurants nationwide have donated more than $570,000 to local schools.
