Kids release balloons in Dresden in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month

DRESDEN, Tenn. — Kids from Head Start along with representatives of the Carl Perkins Center released balloons Wednesday morning in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The children released blue balloons during the gathering in downtown Dresden.

Weakley County Mayor Jake Bynum also attended the event.

“A person is a person, no matter how small” is the theme for Child Abuse Prevention Month at the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
