FHU rummage sale is back in business

HENDERSON, Tenn. — A Henderson tradition opened its doors Wednesday with a number of home goods and hidden treasures for sale.

FHU rummage saleFreed-Hardeman University’s rummage sale is up for another year and takes place at the National Guard Armory near Highway 100.

All the proceeds from eager buyers visiting the event, set up by FHU Associates, go to Freed-Hardeman student scholarships.

“A lot of people work on this. This is a team effort, and we appreciate all the donations and all the workers that help put this on,” said Susan Bradford with FHU Associates.

Friday, all those items will be sold at half price. On Saturday, shoppers can fill a 13-gallon plastic bag for $5 or a 30-gallon trash bag for $10.
