State parks offer volunteer events for Tenn. Promise students

NASHVILLE — Tennessee Promise scholars in need of work to fill their required community service hours have a chance to complete their time this weekend.

Tennessee State Parks are offering volunteer events, asking the next generation of college students to clear brush, plant flowers and help with events to reach their required eight hours of work.
