Weekend events: Bunny Run/Jackson Rod & Jacob Barker Music Fest

JACKSON, Tenn. — The 24th annual Bunny Run/Jackson Rod and Custom Show takes place this weekend at Jackson Fairgrounds Park.

The event is sponsored by Jackson Rod and Custom Car Club and will take place from 10 a.m. the 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

The cost is $4 for adults, and children 12 and younger get in free.

Also this weekend is the Jacob Barker Music Fest at the Amp in downtown Jackson. The show is an effort by the family of 4-year-old Jacob Barker to give back to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The event will feature more than 20 bands who are performing free of charge. The event is free, but all donations will be sent to St. Jude.

The music fest will be from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
