Bikers ride in memory of a Hardin County woman

COUNCE, Tenn. — A bike ride in memory of a Hardin County woman who died in a February car accident took place in Counce Saturday with a ride, auction, barbecue and more.

Chasity Blanton Brown was killed in a car accident on Valentine’s Day and a community of family and friends wanted to remember and celebrate her life by hosting an event called “Ride for the Princess.”

The event began at 11 A.M. at the Rodeo Ranch Club with bikers from seven states traveling on a route to Corinth, Mississippi and back to the Rodeo Ranch Club. After the ride, there was an auction, raffles, a pool tournament and $5 barbecue plates.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Blanton family.
