CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — If you’re looking to purchase some beautiful flowers, the 5th annual West Carroll Junior Senior High School FFA’s plant sale is this Friday and Saturday.

West Carroll greenhouse saleStudents hope to raise around $1,000 this weekend at the sale, which takes place at the greenhouse on the school’s campus in Atwood. It is set to run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Officials say all proceeds will go toward helping students attend Camp Clements, a leadership camp held during the summer in Doyle, Tenn., as well as other FFA activities.

“The community is getting a good product,” said Blake Kee, an agriculture teacher at West Carroll High School. “They are getting something that they can brighten their flower beds or their front porches, and our students are getting to see a side of agriculture where they can make money from.”

More than 100 students will participate in the event this weekend.
