Back to Beech Bluff draws hundreds of alumni

BEECH BLUFF, Tenn. — Hundreds gathered Saturday at a local school to reminisce more than 100 years of history for the community, as well as send off the current students to their new school.

Beech Bluff Elementary hosted an open house today that kicked off with a 5k.

Students young and old gathered to share their favorite memories of the school and took a walk down the halls sharing their stories.

Beech Bluff Elementary School is closing down at the end of the school year as part of the school board’s Vision 2020 plan.

The students will be transferring to Rose Hill Elementary next year.
