Small fires appear set at Knoxville College
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Two fires found burning in a building at Knoxville College appear to have been intentionally set.
WVLT-TV reported students in another building saw the flames in the Martin Luther King Building early Tuesday. Officials said some students tried to extinguish the flames before firefighters arrived. Two small fires were found in a stairwell of the nine-story building.
The flames were quickly extinguished.
Fire inspectors are investigating.
