Undocumented Immigrant Charged with Sexual Battery of Child

HUMBOLDT, Tenn.- Humboldt police have arrested a Mexican national they said is in West Tennessee illegally on a charge of sexual battery involving a young girl. Bernadino Ibarra,45, faces one count of aggravated sexual battery. Humboldt police said his victim is a 6-year-old girl. Ibarra was jailed in Gibson County in lieu of a $500,000 bond. A hold has also been placed on him by immigration officials. His next court appearance is set for Wednesday morning.
