Man Charged in Old Hickory Shooting Case

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police said they have arrested one of the men responsible for a shooting outside a west Jackson apartment complex, last week. Jeremy Jones, 20, faces charges of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism. Jones is suspected of shooting at a 21-year-old man as he walked through The Villages apartment complex, last Wednesday morning. He was not hurt, but a woman working at a nearby business, narrowly missed by a stray bullet. Jones was arrested early Sunday morning after a pat down revealed he was carrying a gun that he was not licensed to have in public. He will return to court, Wednesday morning on the new charges.
