THP identifies man killed in overnight Gibson Co. crash

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified a man killed in a one-vehicle crash early Monday near Gibson Wells.

James T. Walls, 76, of Trenton was killed in the wreck on Frog Jump Brazil Road, according to a THP report.

Walls was traveling westbound around 1:47 a.m. when the 2003 Ford F-150 pickup he was driving left the right side of the road, hit a culvert and a tree and then rolled over.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
