“Goodwill Week” begins with two large area job fairs

JACKSON, Tenn.-If you are looking for a job and other professional tips, one organization is giving a little extra this week to help you out.

“Goodwill Week” started Monday across Middle and West Tennessee. Career solutions senters across the region are hosting special seminars, classes and job fairs everyday this week. Organizers told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News on Tuesday they are hosting two of their largest job fairs of the year in Milan and Dyersburg.

“They will need to bring a resume if they have one available. If not, the employers will have applications available for them to complete right
there and they will get to meet the employers see what they have to offer as far as employment and what their industry does,” said Sandy Hickey, district manager with Goodwill.

Organizers said there will be around 25 different employers at each of the job fairs, Tuesday.
They will held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,Tuesday at the Milan and Dyersburg National Guard armories.
