Jackson’s Amphitheater to kick off concert season this weekend
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Amphitheater is set to kick off their third concert season Friday evening.
The season kicks off Friday with the Kimberlie Helton Band. Music is set to start at 7:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the city will temporarily close New Market Street for the concert.
The City of Jackson Engineering Department will close two lanes of New Market Street in front of the Farmers Market main office from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to the city’s engineering coordinator.
The closure will affect the area of the street between Union Avenue at Jackson Walk Plaza to West Lafayette Street.

Sept. 9 – Water the Buffalo & Hot Wired
