TN Bar Association offers area residents free legal advice
JACKSON, Tenn.-Those in need of some legal advice got some free of charge Tuesday morning in downtown Jackson.
The Tennessee Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division held their pro bono event at RIFA in Jackson, providing some useful legal advice for anyone who stopped by. Those involved said they were able to bring a lot of help in a short amount of time.
“The assistance we’ve been able to give this morning, we really have been able to do a lot of good work. We’ve been able to give some great guidance and I feel like just based on what we’ve seen today, we’ve really made an impact in several people’s lives,” said Attorney Ben Conley, of Morgan and Akins.
This was one of eight free clinics going on throughout the state of Tennessee this month as part of the TBA’s “Access to Justice Week.”
RIFA also offers free legal advice on the last Tuesday of each month.
