JACKSON, Tenn — After finishing the season 13-1 last year, the Crusaders are back on the field looking to make another run.

Spring Ball kicked off this week for the team, the focus now is to get to the level of play as Christ Presbyterian Academy. They defeated the Crusaders in the Semi-Final game eliminating their chances of playing for a state championship.

I asked coach Tyler Turner what their goal is for this season, he had some interesting words.

“CPA is a top notch program, they’ve been to the state championship a couple of times and won it,” Turner said. “That’s what we got to strive for, we’ve got the score on the board in there to give us a little motivation. Kids are hungry, kids are here to work everyday and we got high hope for ourselves.”

The team has a few players getting a lot of recognition from college coaches, hopefully they can carry the team back to glory and compete for a state championship.
