‘Drop the Mic’ to be held to celebrate poetry

JACKSON, Tenn. — A celebration of poetry is being held on April 27 in Jackson.

The Griot Collective of West Tennessee will be holding the Drop the Mic: A Celebration of National Poetry Month at The Ned.

The celebration will have free entry, refreshments and parking.

The Ned can be found at 314 East Main Street in Jackson.
