Late Inning Heroics
JACKSON, Tenn — Early Friday afternoon South Side jumped out to a 1-0 lead, after the first inning.
The Lexington Tigers would later capitalize scoring four unanswered runs. It looked as if the game would be over until the Hawks managed to score three runs in the top of the seventh to tie the game up at four.
Now to the bottom half of the inning, Tigers get their chance, they would get the bases loaded, then a batter gets hit with the pitch bringing in the winning run, beating the Hawks on their home field, 5-4.
