Police seek identity of woman killed by train

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (AP) – Police in Springfield are trying to identify a woman struck and killed by a train.

The Tennessean (http://tnne.ws/ZvIQNw ) reported the accident occurred around 2 a.m. Thursday at a railroad crossing of the CSX Transportation tracks.

Police said the victim was an African-American woman in her 20s or 30s. She was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. There is a butterfly tattoo on her left wrist.
