Hundreds gather to celebrate JSCC Commencement

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of Jackson State Community College students participated in commencement Saturday.

The ceremony was held at the Oman Arena where friends and family members gathered to celebrate their loved ones accomplishments. Students graduated with associate degrees ranging from Science to Teaching.

Veterans received a standing ovation during the ceremony. Each Veteran was given red, white and blue cords to wear during Saturday’s graduation ceremony.
