Humboldt police seek men in theft of cash from Wal-Mart
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are looking for two men after they say one of them stole around $200 while getting change from a cashier.
Officers responded Friday to the store where a cashier told them a man had come through her lane and bought an item for a dollar, according to police.
When she gave the man his change, he then asked for different cash denominations. As the cashier was counting out more change, police say the man pocketed the money and then received the same amount of change in different denominations.
There was another man with him who left the store through a different exit. Both men reportedly got into a dark, four-door vehicle and left the area.
If you recognize either of the men, call Humboldt police at 731-784-1322 or 731-784-6225.
