Madison Wins A Close One
JACKSON, Tenn — This one was an intense match up, as the chance to get to the district championship was on the line. Madison played host to JCM.
After scoring one goal a piece, the teams traded shots on goals as they tried to go ahead.
Rodrigo Altilano had his opportunity but couldn’t seize it, early in the second half.
Madison would turn around and get their shot, Jeremy Pittman got the ball to Mouhamed Elsebae, but he would also be denied.
JCM would get a chance to go ahead late, Altilano would have a penalty kick but slipped while kicking the ball and the kick sailed.
Moments later, Nick Bezold headed the other way, passed it to J. Timby who put a few nice moves on the defenders and then passed it to his team Ashkan Neshagaran, who finishes it to put the Mustangs ahead.
Madison goes on to win this one, 2-1. They play Jackson Christian, Thursday. Time TBD
