Order of protection filed against former JPD officer, dismissed
JACKSON, Tenn.-A temporary order of protection filed against former Jackson Police Sergeant Peaches Nesbitt was dismissed Wednesday.
The order was filed by a local mother who accused Nesbitt of grabbing her young daughter at Walmart, last June, after another encounter in April at Kroger.
The mother said Nesbitt yelled at her children. However, her attorney said the judge found no merit for harassment and threw out the order.
