Madison County seniors eligible for free Chromebooks, training

JACKSON, Tenn. — Local seniors can get tech savvy thanks to a new grant.

Southwest Human Resources Senior Services has received a grant for Madison County senior citizens to receive computer training.
Seniors who complete the training will receive a free Chromebook laptop.

“The Chromebooks will be adjusted for those that are vision impaired and hearing impaired,” said Lisa Bobbit, Director of the West Madison County Senior Center.

In order to receive a Chromebook, seniors must be a resident of Madison County, over the age of 60, and fil out an application.
