Rutherford Police Chief Injured in Wreck

RUTHERFORD, Tenn.- A scary situation in Rutherford, in Gibson County this afternoon. Officers said Rutherford Police Chief Mike Hensley, while in his squad car was hit by a truck while on South Trenton Street. The chief chased him for a few blocks before he was able to get him stopped. Both men were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for evaluation. No word on whether criminal charges will be filed.
