Whiteville Police Looking For Suspect

WHITEVILLE, Tenn. – A vehicle pursuit began on Bass St. and ended on Newsome Rd., Saturday night. The suspect, 31-year-old black male Tyrone Ladell Herron, fled the scene on foot. The officer began clearing the suspect’s vehicle and discovered that Herron had abandoned his eight-year-old son, who suffered minor injuries during the crash. The child was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
